The Signature alto represents the next evolution of Selmer's saxophone design. It was engineered to capture the deeply loved, generous acoustic core of the iconic Super Action 80 Series II, but completely modernized with mechanical innovations derived from Selmer’s flagship Supreme model. The result is a horn that offers immense richness of timbre and a traditional French sound, paired with effortless, modern playability.

- Supreme Mechanical Upgrades: The Signature borrows heavily from the Supreme's engineering. It features a new 3-point concentric neck receiver system for perfect sound homogeneity, and an octave key mechanism fitted with Teflon supports for a lighter, whisper-quiet action.
- Flawless Intonation & Response: While it retains the lush sound of the Series II, the Signature boasts significantly improved pitch accuracy (especially in the notoriously difficult upper register) and an incredibly free-blowing response in the low end.
