As a final prototype, this instrument represents the culmination of Eastman's intense R&D process prior to public release. While it may feature slight design variations from the final production models hitting the market, it is an absolute monster of a player. Eastman has successfully married the massive, smoky, vintage tone of their legendary 52nd Street series with the revolutionary, lightning-fast DS key mechanism introduced on the Rue Saint-Georges. This is a one-of-a-kind collector's piece that also happens to be a world-class gigging horn.

Condition & Shop Inspection
- Cosmetics: Prototype / Excellent. As a factory prototype, this horn was used for internal testing and artist feedback. The unlacquered brass is already developing a gorgeous, authentic patina that will continue to uniquely personalize itself to your hands.
- Mechanics: Gig-Ready. Our Houston-based repair team has thoroughly benched and play-tested this instrument. The DS mechanism is perfectly regulated, all pads seal flawlessly, and the horn is entirely stage-ready.
