We have a seriously beautiful instrument in the shop today. This is a pre-owned Schilke XA1 Bb cornet, and it is an incredibly unique and stunning horn.
If you are looking for that true, authentic British brass band sound or just want a wonderfully lyrical solo instrument, the XA1 is built specifically for that purpose. It features a traditional shepherd's crook design, which gives the horn a remarkably warm, dark, and velvety tone that you just can't get out of a standard trumpet-style cornet. It’s an absolute blast to play.
