We have a true unicorn in the shop today, coming to us from a local Houston collector. Most trumpet players are well-acquainted with Schilke's legendary piccolo trumpets, but very few have ever seen a P6-4 in the wild.
This is a remarkably rare, small-bore (.437") piccolo trumpet equipped with a stunning herald bell. Our model (serial number 17740) dates back to 1971. It was meticulously maintained by a retired collector who loved his gear (and had a mountain of mouthpieces to prove it!). If you are a gigging professional playing weddings, church services, or ceremonial events, this horn is an absolute showstopper. It delivers the pristine intonation and immaculate valve action that Schilke is famous for, with a visual aesthetic that guarantees you will stand out.
