Pre-Owned Edwards Generation II Bb Trumpet - Bronze/Gold Lacquer (Big Bell / Dark Setup)
We have another great Edwards Generation II trumpet on the floor, but this one has a completely different vibe than the gold-plated model we recently posted.
This is a more recent Gen II build, and it is currently set up for a massive, dark sound. It features a larger bell stamped "ZXM20" and is finished in a really sharp bronze/gold lacquer. If you play jazz, handle solo work, or just prefer a trumpet that leans toward the warm, broad characteristics of a flugelhorn, this specific setup is going to be right up your alley.

The "Flugel" Setup: This horn currently has a very large leadpipe installed. When paired with the big ZXM20 bell, it completely changes the blow of the instrument, mellowing out the standard trumpet "bite" and giving you a ridiculously warm, dark, and broad sound.

Original Parts Included: If you ever need to brighten things up or want a more traditional resistance profile, the original stock Edwards leadpipe is included in the sale and can be easily swapped in.

ZXM20 Bell: Edwards custom bells are highly regarded, and this specific large-taper bell helps project that thick core sound without the tone breaking up at high volumes.

Bronze/Gold Lacquer: A slightly more modern aesthetic that looks great and adds a nice touch of physical warmth to the brass.

Cosmetics: Great Condition. As a more recent build, this trumpet is in very solid cosmetic shape. The bronze/gold lacquer looks excellent and shows only the standard, minor signs of regular play.
