Pre-Owned Bach Stradivarius High G Sopranino Trumpet (311 Bell) - Early Elkhart / Corporation Era
We have an exceptionally rare and highly specialized find in the shop today. Coming to us from a respected local Houston collector, this is a vintage Bach Stradivarius High G Sopranino Trumpet.
Measuring in at a remarkably compact 11.5 inches long, this instrument was built strictly for the absolute upper echelon of the trumpet repertoire. Bach high G trumpets are incredibly scarce today. Serial number 39222 places this instrument right around 1968, during the highly desirable early Elkhart "Corporation" era. During this transition, Bach utilized the 311 bell for these specialized high-key instruments. In fact, the Principal Trumpet of the Houston Symphony currently utilizes this identical model in his personal arsenal. For the serious orchestral professional, Bach collector, or historian, this is a fascinating and highly capable piece of brass history.
