The 52nd Street is Eastman’s professional level tenor that comes un-lacquered for a truly vintage appearance. Sporting the aged brass finish, this sax really gives off a vintage look and sound. The black mother-of-pearl key touches make the horn pop and greatly compliments the aged brass look. Due to its oversized bell and double arms on the B, Bb, and low C key Eastman saxes are said to be slightly heavier and more durable than most saxes on the market. The 52nd street is incredibly responsive in every octave, has excellent intonation, comes with easily adjustable palm keys, and rounded pinky keys designed to fit any owner. This sax really feels great in the hands and is a joy to play. Containing a solid core and enormous sound, the Eastman is praised by musicians in every genre for it’s open, bright, big, and powerful sound.
