Brand New Buffet Crampon R13 Professional Bb Clarinet - Nickel-Plated Keys (BC1131-5-0)
We've got the undisputed gold standard of the clarinet world fresh out of the box today. First developed in 1955 by master designer Robert Carrée, the Buffet Crampon R13 has shaped the sound of generations of symphony players, conservatory majors, and band directors.
The secret behind the R13's legendary status is Carrée’s pioneering polycylindrical bore design. By stepping through multiple internal bore dimensions rather than using a simple straight cone, the R13 creates a warm, centered core with ringing harmonic overtones and dependable scale stability across registers. Built from select African blackwood (Grenadilla), this model features durable nickel-plated keys that resist skin oils and daily wear without tarnishing like silver. Complete with its deluxe hard case, mouthpiece, ligature, and factory kit, this horn arrives fully shop-regulated and stage-ready.
