Brand New Buffet Crampon R13 Professional Bb Clarinet - Silver-Plated Keys (BC1131-2-0)
Fresh out of the factory box, we have the gold standard of orchestral clarinets in its most popular configuration: the Buffet Crampon R13 with silver-plated keys. First engineered in 1955 by master acoustic designer Robert Carrée, the R13 is celebrated worldwide for its centered, dark, and highly flexible tone that adapts effortlessly to symphonies, wind ensembles, and solo concert stages.
While nickel plating offers bulletproof durability, silver-plated keywork is the top choice of conservatory majors and symphonic performers. Silver delivers a softer, tactile grip that naturally absorbs subtle finger moisture for confident technique during fast, technical passages. Paired with hand-selected African blackwood (Grenadilla) and Carrée’s famous polycylindrical bore, this R13 creates an incredibly vibrant core with clear, ringing harmonics across all registers.
