The much sought-after Selmer Mark VI saxophones are truly amazing horns that have held up over the test of time, and this instrument is no different.

The serial number (#208XXX) indicates this instrument was manufactured in 1973. This 1973 Mark VI tenor seems to have been relacquered at some point in its life. The neck seems to have sustained some damage and has signs of repair throughout. The bottom bow guard has been slightly dented in and the left side of the bell has some dents scattered throughout as well. (These dents can be worked on prior to shippment.) The remaining lacquer seems to be in good shape and the only noticeable wear are the scratches and high contact areas around the body of the instrument.

Notable alterations are as follow:

  • 2 heavy mass neck screws (One not pictured)
  • The orignal neck screw is included (Not pictured)
  • A Tino Schucht thumb hook has been added to the instrument (The orinal thumb hook is not included.)
  • Protec Pro-Pac Case
