The E. Rousseau Classic NC Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece (NC4) is a staple for professional and advanced classical saxophonists. Developed as a complement to the original R-Series, the New Classic (NC) line features modern refinements to enhance playability and tone. It's designed to provide precision, clarity, and a beautifully balanced, rich tone for classical and ensemble settings.
This mouthpiece is meticulously crafted from high-quality hard rubber at the JodyJazz factory. The design includes a new rollover baffle to give good projection and a generous dip in the chamber to provide a beautiful warmth and core to the sound. The NC4 facing offers a tip opening of .076″ (1.93 mm), which is a medium-open facing that delivers an excellent blend of control, dynamic flexibility, and powerful projection.
