The D'Addario Select Jazz Tenor Mouthpiece blends the acoustic character of classic vintage jazz mouthpieces with state-of-the-art manufacturing precision. Designed in collaboration with leading artists—including Jeff Coffin—and top acoustic engineers, this mouthpiece is 100% precision-milled from solid rod rubber rather than molded, ensuring exact table flatness, rail symmetry, and pitch stability from piece to piece.

Featuring a medium chamber paired with a subtle roll-over baffle and a medium facing curve, the Select Jazz produces a balanced, flexible acoustic core that sits right in the sweet spot between dark warmth and crisp edge. It offers clear articulation, rich harmonic color, and remarkable projection that easily cuts through an ensemble while keeping the low register speaking with ease and the altissimo fluid and secure.
