The William S. Haynes Flute Company was founded in 1888 by William Sherman Haynes and his brother George Haynes. The company has continued to innovate, incorporating modern technology while maintaining its vintage qualities and the distinctive sound that flutists associate with the Haynes name.
The following flute is listed on the Haynes website with the follwoing information: Built in January 1978, "HMF Bft .200"
This flute comes in what seems to be a custom handmade wooden case and alligator case cover.
