This Benge Resno Tempered 3X Bell was made in 1976. (The #3 can be stamped just below the 1st valve kick slide.) The bore size of the instrument was measured to be 0.460" here in the shop. (Not to be confused with the popular 3X+ which measure out to 0.464")
Benge trumpets were highly sought after by professionals and advanced students from the 30's to the 90's. Benge instruments have stood the test of time and still hold up to this day.
This trumpet comes fully serviced from our in house repair shop. All the tuning slides move freely, the pistons have fast and smooth action, and both kick slides move with ease. This trumpet seems to have been professionally replated at one point of its life.
