Yangaisawa's Bronze alloy gives the saxophone a very unique, and wonderful, tone! This Bronze alloy is a heavier compared to yellow brass and affects the overall tone in a great way. Standard brass is an alloy comprised of Copper & Zinc, while bronze is an alloy that consists of a higher concentration of Copper & small amount of Tin. With the higher concentration of copper in the brass it lends the saxophone a much more lush and richer tone compared to the brass equivalent model (TWO10). The bronze is known to be a hair more resistant than their brass alloy. This is due to the Yanagisawa combining the heavier alloy with the heavier ribbed construction of the Elite Series. Together, this adds mass to the horn that needs to be vibrated by the player.
