The Vandoren M30 (Série 13 / Profile 88) is renowned for providing clarinetists with an extraordinary balance between flexible dynamic response and round, centered resonance. Designed with a medium 1.15 mm tip opening paired with a long facing length, the M30 produces a sound profile often compared to the legendary B40, but with a blowing sensation closer to that of an 5RV Lyre. This versatile acoustic architecture delivers fluid, supple legato playing and crisp, effortless articulation across all registers.
Tuned to the American standard pitch of A=440 (Série 13) and sculpted with Vandoren’s ergonomic Profile 88 exterior beak angle, the M30 promotes a natural, comfortable embouchure that minimizes jaw strain during extended rehearsals and performances.
