The SKB Contoured Alto Saxophone Case (1SKB-440) sets the standard for rugged, travel-ready protection for student musicians, school band programs, and gigging professionals. Engineered with an advanced vacuum-formed ABS polymer shell, this case delivers exceptional impact resistance to safeguard delicate key mechanisms, body tubes, and tone holes against the drops, bumps, and crush hazards of busy band halls and school buses.

Featuring an aerodynamic, form-fitted profile, the contoured design eliminates unnecessary bulk, making it easy to carry and store. The interior utilizes a custom-molded, shock-absorbing EPS foam cradle lined with soft plush fabric to prevent finish wear and keep the instrument firmly seated. Dedicated interior compartments safely isolate the neck and mouthpiece to prevent them from shifting against the horn during transit, while SKB’s heavy-duty valance system and patented trigger-release latches ensure dependable security year after year.
