The JodyJazz GIANT Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is a revolutionary design that delivers a big, complex, and timeless sound suitable for a vast array of musical genres. This mouthpiece introduces the concept of "Stealth Metal", combining the precise engineering of metal construction with the traditional shape and look of a hard rubber mouthpiece.
It is precision-machined in the USA from Aerospace Grade Hard Anodized Aluminum and individually hand-finished and play-tested by Jody Espina or one of his professional saxophonists. The large chamber design is key to its sound, providing the warmth and richness typically associated with larger chamber pieces, but with strong projection and cut thanks to the unique material. The 7* tip opening of .105″ (2.67 mm) is a popular medium-open size, offering a free-blowing feel with a touch of resistance for tonal shaping and powerful dynamics.
