The much sought-after Selmer Paris Mark VI saxophones are truly amazing horns that have held up over the test of time, and this instrument is no different. This sax needs no introduction.
One of the first Mark VI's off the line (#607XX), this alto is a real player. Has all the characteristics of that classic vintage Selmer sound, and all the presence a Mark VI packs. No major repair or damage is located anywhere on the saxophone. There are some very small, very cosmetic, scratches located around the bow and the body. We do suspect this has had a Selmer factory relacquer early into it's manufacture. Very well done, even layer. Was hard to tell upon first inspection. Neck is original and matching, with no pull down damage. Case cover is original, but has had a replacement case. The new case is period appropriate and well made.
