Conn New Invention Alto Saxophone 1915

$650.00

Only 1 left!

The Conn New Invention was produced in 1915. It needs repair work and currently does not play. Many missing pads. All the keywork is attached and ready to be repaired. We had held this one for a project horn but are deciding to let it go to another player/collector who has the time to put into this historic horn.

In the horn's current state, the gold plating shows signs of wear. The saxophone was originally silver plated back in the year 1915 and has been gold plated sometime during the late 1930's.
Currently the horn is NOT in stable playing condition. For those interested in a repair through Fleming Instruments and Repair, please call us at 713-426-3663 and we'd be happy to work on this historic piece of saxophone history.

More pictures are available. Please reach out to us here on Reverb or directly to the shop for more information!

We found an original catalog that lists the horn @ w w w .saxophone.org/museum/publications/id/53
Check it out!
