One of the most popular vintage saxophones ever produced. The C.G. Conn 6M was played by some of the greatest early period musicians. With it's ahead-of-its-time underslung octave neck mechanism and other advanced features, this became one of the premier saxes during it's time. This one came to us from a local collector in good condition. Features straight tone holes, underslung octave mechanism, and many more professional features from the 50's. Has original lacquer and the pads are in good condition. The lacquer is in about 80% condition and has some patina in various places around the body and bell.Comes with original case in terrible cosmetic condition, but functions perfectly! We would highly suggest a new case with this one. It's down to the bare wood and appears as if the lining was torn off. The sax is mechanically sound and does play but will need a bit of work/adjustment to sound it's best. We are selling this one as-is. If you prefer to purchase the horn with repair services please contact us! We are aware that some of our national buyers have preferred shops around the country.
