The AWO2 model has a higher bronze content in the brass producing a warmer, rounder tone, with more overtones. Along with a gorgeous bronze brass color.
Yangaisawa's Bronze alloy gives the saxophone a very unique, and wonderful, tone! This Bronze alloy is a heavier compared to yellow brass and affects the overall tone in a great way. Standard brass is an alloy comprised of Copper & Zinc, while bronze is an alloy that consists of a higher concentration of Copper & small amount of Tin. With the higher concentration of copper in the brass it lends the saxophone a much more lush and richer tone compared to the brass equivalent model (AWO1).
This WO2 features all the normal professional features of the WO1 including metal thumb rest and hook, pointed pivot screws, blue steel needle springs, tri-point brace, and more. These saxes are known for their free-blowing resonant tone and their ability to play and blend well with all musical genres.
